Thanks for Being a Part of the #Ailey50 Celebration! | All season long we’ve been celebrating the 50-year relationship between Celebrity Series of Boston, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and the people of Boston. The celebration culminated in the company’s incredible return engagement at the Boch Center Wang Theatre last month. As we turn the page on this anniversary season, we invite you to look back on all of the ways Bostonians came together to share their love of Ailey.

Free Concert with Sandeep Das & Shaw Pong Liu this Sunday | Join us this Sunday for a free Neighborhood Arts concert featuring Grammy-winning Indian tabla master Sandeep Das and Chinese erhu-violinist Shaw Pong Liu at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Shaw Pong creates genre-defying performances which interplay written and improvised music with storytelling and movement. Sandeep is one of the world’s leading Indian Tabla virtuosos. He has built a diverse international career, collaborating with a variety of genre-crossing artists from Yo-Yo Ma to the New York Philharmonic. Together they will share a Jugalbandi, a duet in which each musician is on equal footing. Evocative solos and duets from India, China, and other lands will transport you to distant cultures and storytelling for the ages. RSVP to reserve your seats!
