Publishing Perspectives is pleased to introduce our Arab World Book News, a new addition to our regular reporting. Eight times a year, we will offer an email edition dedicated to news and updates from Arab world publishing.

International Prize for Arabic Fiction winner Ibrahim Nasrallah argues that Arabic literature needs more support and should not be judged solely in the context of politics and conflict.

Leading the recently announced Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Authority and the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, Dr. Ali Bin Tamim is working to provide more incentives to translate Arabic literature.
