Church makeover: A high-profile church shuttered after Hurricane Katrina and then folded into another parish is set for a big-time makeover. Tony McAuley has all the details on what will become of the old Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Napoleon Avenue.
Arch has left the building: Arch Manning, perhaps Louisiana's best-known prep football player this past season, said so long to Newman during a ceremony at the Uptown school, Chris Dabe reports. The grandson of Saints great Archie Manning and the nephew of Peyton and Eli, Arch Manning is enrolling at the University of Texas for the spring semester to get a jump on his college football career.
