Most Platforms That Banned Political Ads Still Allow Voter Registration Ads
 

Hi there,

Just because social media platforms have said they won't allow political advertising doesn't mean they won't accept what they consider civic engagement ads, such as get out the vote initiatives.

While Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitch don't allow political ads, GOTV ads are allowed—but the platforms are split on whether they allow them from partisan organizations. TikTok, meanwhile, won't allow either GOTV or political ads.
