Back when I worked in an office every day, I tried to wait until 2 p.m. to eat my lunch. It was a misguided effort to trick myself into feeling like the time after lunch "flew by" before I could go home. But now that I'm working from home, there's no more incentive to warp time because I'm already, well ... home. And food is everywhere! These days I'm tempted to eat lunch at 11:30 a.m., and my body is very, very confused.
So is there a time of day that's actually best to eat lunch? Is there a magical hour that'll help boost your energy levels, aid digestion and increase productivity? The answer is yes, but it's different for everyone. Reporter Erica Sweeney spoke with experts who shared how to figure out the perfect time for you. Calculate your new lunchtime this week, and report back if you can feel a difference!
