As viewers gear up for the second season of the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That…, coming to M-Net (DStv 101) on Monday, 17 July, an artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics firm has revealed who fans wished Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) ended up with between Mr Big (Chris Noth) and Aidan Shaw (John Corbett).

First, let's recap...

When Carrie met Big

Carrie first meets Mr Big when they bump into each other on the street in the season 1 premiere. Big helps Carrie pick up stuff from the street and, throughout the episode, they run into each other at parties.

They eventually meet for drinks, which Carrie adamantly clarifies is not an official date. A few episodes later, the pair go on their first date and have their first fight. However, their relationship remains ongoing for the rest of the first season – until the last episode.

In season 2, Carrie and Big have their first post-breakup encounter at a bar while she's on a date with a baseball player.

Big's assistant then sends her flowers on her birthday and she invites him to dinner. A few episodes later, they get back together.

Their second attempt at dating goes better. Big goes to a wedding with Carrie, calls her his girlfriend for the first time and begins socialising with her friends – Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon).

Everything is going smoothly until Big announces that he is moving to Paris, France, for possibly a year. They break up for the second time.

Later in the season, Carrie bumps into Big and his new partner Natasha (Bridget Moynahan), only to find out he didn't move to Paris and is engaged.

Indie singer and UK TikTok sensation Casey Lowry just dropped his latest single, Caught Me At My Lowest, with Canadian band, Walk Off The Earth.

REVIEW

"Nimona is pure fun and has a lot of heart. The film initially sets itself up as a classic fairy tale, but it later subverts every fairy tale trope in the book."
