We, and most of our neighbors, had gardens. They were always home to several writing spiders. With this spider being very active during the day, it was not uncommon to encounter a few during any visit to the garden.

Recently we were given a couple of pumpkins not in the greatest condition - they were dented, but it was perfect for the kids!

I remember watching my mother make pizza from scratch as a little girl. Rarely could we afford delivery or even a good freezer pizza, to be honest. But I couldn't care less, because pizza day was a day I could play with my mom in the kitchen. She liked to bake it in cookie sheets for the convenience, so we always had messy rectangles, haha! This year, the memories came back as I yearned to find a good recipe for pizza that could be frozen; something cheaper and healthier than cardboard pizzas in the freezer section.

I have started making meals for students at a nearby University. And sell them so very inexpensively. The guys love my cooking. The name of my business is "Mom's Cooking Away From Home". I make 1/2 steamer pans of food and sell them for only $10.00. I love to cook and these students love to eat! :) This past week was beef and dark red kidney beans, aka Chili. With a large bag of shredded Mexican cheese and a baggie of hot sauce!

This is cute and cozy way to stop those cold drafts from coming in under your door. A pool noodle is covered with cute Christmas socks, then filled with gravel and corked at the ends.

Hold Bra Straps Together with Paper Clips

Hook a paper clip onto the back of your bra straps to hold them together. That way, the straps will not go down your arms.

I am moving. I have lots of breakables, but also lots of yarn and soft craft supplies. Tonight I found that you can mix them and save on newspaper, time, bulk and more.

Keep an eye out when you see a "For Sale" sign. There is a good chance there will be plenty of usable items at the curb that the owners will not be taking with them. I found a very dirty Cozy Coupe and child-sized picnic table. I used blue Dawn, Barkeepers Friend, a scrub brush and a Magic Eraser to clean these up beautifully.
