Marking Time @ Harvey Milk Photo Center (SF)

MEETUP THIS SATURDAY: October 12,  2 - 4pm
I will be hosting this informal "meetup" at the gallery this weekend. Other members will be there and are available to hang out and discuss our work.

Thanks to all who attended the exhibition to celebrate BAPC's 20th Anniversary.

I'm so pleased with how Marking Time speaks to this moment in our world and in photography through the members' visual stories, curated so terrifically by Meg Shiffler.

Meetup and closing: October 26, 2-4pm

Exhibition dates: September 26 - October 26, 2019
Gallery hours: Tu-Th 3-10pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-6pm
Location: Harvey Milk Photography Center, 50 Scott Street, San Francisco CA 94117 (website)

I am participating in this 20th anniversary BAPC show curated by Meg Shiffler. I am exhibiting images from my Rapid Express series.

In addition to the curated exhibit, a selection of photographs from BAPC founders and a nifty timeline of BAPC’s 20-year run will be on display. The timeline encompasses an important part of my own history as an artist over the last decade.  It will be printed in the exhibition catalog and also presented in a large format on the wall.

FLOATING WORLDS @ Bokeh Bokeh

My series won a Portfolio Award in the San Francisco Bay International Photo Show. It was published online on “Bokeh Bokeh”.

Bokeh Bokeh is an online photo Zine that features works from all photographic genres - fine art, documentary, portraiture, street, … focuses (or blurs?) on work that is original, beautiful, startling.

HOME SHOW @ PhotoAlliance

PhotoAlliance presented a juried photographic competition with winning entries exhibiting work at the SFO Museum located at the San Francisco International Airport and online @ photoalliance.org. My work will be shown in the online exhibition.

Home may be where we start or end our day – an actual place or a state of mind. Home might be a feeling carried around as something desired or battled for. Home can include inhabitants, community or any form of like-mindedness.
