The widow of late Congressmen Elijah Cummings, who died in October after representing Maryland for two decades, will run for his vacant seat, sources from the campaign confirmed.
On November 18, Tim Adams will be sworn in as Bowie's first black mayor. Adams will replace G. Frederick Robinson, who served as mayor for more than two decades.
