Arrow 3 Makes Combat Debut, Thwarting Long-Range Missile Attack

The Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) Arrow 3 made its combat debut on Oct. 31 by successfully shooting down a long-range ballistic missile over the Red Sea, Israeli government and industry officials said.

GE Aerospace's XA100 adaptive engine offers improvements needed for rising threats, increases readiness, and offers competition to reduce costs. It’s estimated the XA100 could help save billions with up to 25% greater fuel efficiency and improved durability. Today’s threats demand that Congress continue investing in advanced engine technologies, like XA100.

Third F-15EX Aircraft Notches First Flight
