Hello everyone! Hoping all is well with you, your families and friends. All good here. I think it is, anyway! Though it does feel a bit strange to be sending this “issue” of the Art Room newsletter out to you all. And I don’t know quite how to word it. It is definitely the hardest newsletter I have ever had to compose. Because, tomorrow is the last day that the Art Room will be open. I will be wearing my waterproof mascara for a day that I know will be truly bittersweet.

So please stop by tomorrow morning for the FREE “make & take!” from 10 a.m. till noon and join the party from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m.! The FREE “make & take!” has been going on every Saturday morning since April of 2007! It’s been a tradition! What am I going to do without it?! Without you?!

And, for sure, be sure to go shopping!!! All Art Room products, supplies and samples are FREE.! Everything! You can leave your wallets home! Yes, Saturday, May 28th’s FLASH SALE is that everything is FREE! I don’t even know if you call that a SALE if it’s all free? (except Anamay’s consignment cards and jewelry, which are almost free, anyway!) We love her!

I want to tell you all how very much I love and appreciate every one of you. You have honored the Art Room (and ME!) with so much of your kindnesses, your friendliness, your shared creativity, your laughter, touching stories, and all the love and prayers that’s been sent this way throughout so much time and so many years. I cannot express it well enough to say what I am trying to say (at least without tears streaming down on my keyboard). I mean it. You guys are the very best…

Would love to see you for the party! It’d be great if you could bring a snack or two to share with old friends and new. It’ll be fun! We have no idea of the Art Room stories that will be told, the Art Room memories that will be shared (that may be totally true or slightly exaggerated!), the silliness of us all, the love that surrounds our camaraderie and friendship. I can’t ever thank you guys enough…So please, “Meet us at the Art Bar!” and visit with my wonderful love, Keller, who has been here at the Art Room for many, many years “behind the scenes” (and also, in front of the scenes at the Art Bar), of course all of our beautiful, smiling, and creative and so-much-fun ladies - Nanette, Denise, Anamay, and hopefully Beth, Deborah, Anne, our amazing “organizer” Manon, all or some of our other instructors and creative consignors whom have blessed us with their talents throughout the years! And a most very special big thank you to Bird, for being our fb com
municator and loving friend. I truly believe we wouldn’t have been around for this many years without you and you time consuming attention to get it all out there with class pics and info. Really!

So please come see us tomorrow on our last day. Don’t know if I much like the sound of that, but…It’s time for me to retire! It is pretty exciting! Come celebrate with me! There’s nothing I’d like better than to see you guys!
