The Art Room will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th to celebrate the holiday with family and friends. Wishing you all a safe and happy one!
We will continue adding new items to our “Sale Stuff!†table every Saturday morning in June and July! Come check them out!
Be sure to check out Angelica’s “Vintage Wardrobe!†cubbie featuring vintage clothes and accessories! New items have just arrived - Red, white and blue! (I, personally, have found some wonderful outfits there! Thanks, Angelica!) Also - don’t miss her vintage and fun hats and purses featured on the hat rack, along with shoes to match!
We will feature “Christmas in July!†next month (so that we can maybe get a head start on the holidays ahead that seem to arrive way too quickly?!) We have a great “Quick & Easy Christmas Card!†class with Candy and we’ll offer “Christmas in July†options at the FREE “make & takes!†every Saturday… Look for a holiday class with Jennie and Sue late in July, too!

“Christmas in July!†with Candy features “Quick & Easy Christmas Cards!†It’s a tradition now! Candy will have some great cards for you to create, it’s fun and you’ll enjoy having some new quick & easy ideas! Class fee is $10.00. Please preregister, prepay and bring your basic kit, thanks!
*We are so very delighted to have Mary Bennett here at the Art Room, once again this summer, creating all new art classes for kids/young adults, ages 7 – 15. All classes are on Wednesday afternoons at 1 p.m. and are $10.00 per student per class. Please preregister and prepay for any class (and every class, if you’d like!) that is of interest:
Wednesday, June 28th will find Mary creating a “Fireworks Notecard Holder “ complete with notecards and envelopes! Please join her! The fireworks will be created with “colorburst powders!â€
Wednesday, July 5th will be a lot of fun – “Fairy Themed Paper Dolls!†You will take home one doll with two original outfits! Join us earlier that day, at noon, to have your face painted as a fairy! Please let us know if you would like to include the face painting, upon registration please. Face painting is $5.00 if you are taking the class, and $10.00 without the class. Thanks…
Wednesday, July 12th is the day to create a “Polymer Clay Pen!†This is really fun! You’ll enjoy using your pen all summer long and into the school year ahead! (Let’s not talk about school yet, huh?!)
Wednesday, July 19th is the class to make a “Summer of Fun Journal!†Keep track of the great things you do all summer long and leave room for pictures, if you’d like!
Wednesday, July 26th will have you painting with Mary, a “Painted Nature Duo!†Discover acrylic paint in a lovely nature scene!
