Well, it seems that it’s about that time again, when some of our favorite
friends will be headed south! Sure will miss you and look forward to catching up with you again next year!

If you would like to keep up with some of our classes that you see online on our class schedule, we will have an option for you! We will be taking names, emails, addresses and phone numbers of those of you that would like monthly kits mailed to you! There will be a mailing (5 card kits) of our “Thursdays at 1!” class and a mailing (4 card kits) of our Saturday “Make & Take!” class. “Thursdays at 1!” kits will be $35.00 (for the 5 card kits). “Make & Take!” kits will be $30.00 (for the 4 card kits). Kits will be sent for the months of October, November and December. Please let us know by the 1st of each month so that we know how many to prepare for… thank you! Please prepay by stopping in the shop, by cash, check or charge card. (Samples will be on fb, or I can text pics to you if you do not do fb)

Saturdays, October 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 10 a.m. till noon –
“FREE Make & Takes!”
Come join us for some wonderful classes featuring paper crafting! Autumn, holidays and all-occasion cards on the agenda! It‘s a FREE class, truly! You don’t need to sign up and you don’t need to bring a thing! Let’s play!

Thursdays, October 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at 1 or 3 p.m. –
“Thursdays at 1 and 3!” class is fun! This month we feature all autumn- themed cards! Very fun! This Thursday, October 4th is our ”Playful Scare Crow!” The following 5 Thursdays will be our “Autumn Kit Classes!” Samples will all be on display at the shop and on fb. Class fee is $5.00. Please preregister, prepay, and bring your basic kit, including adhesive. Items to purchase for your basic kit are available here at the Art Room if you need them…

Our “Bookmaking Class!” is the last Tuesday of every month. It is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30th at 1 p.m. We always have a new, fun book to create! Class fee is $20.00. Please preregister, prepay and bring your basic kit, including adhesive.

**** New Class with Nanette!
Monday, October 22th at 6p.m. –
“Alcohol Inks Projects Class!” Wow!!! This will be fun! Learn to use alcohol inks in a new artistic way creating two different home projects along with a beautiful greeting card made with yupo! Bring adhesives and old artwork size paint brushes. This class is approximately 2 hours. Class fee is $20.00. Please preregister and prepay. Thank you!

Friday, October 12th at 1 p.m. –
“Faux Knit!” with Deborah!
In this polymer clay class we will create pieces with a faux knit appearance. Pieces are perfect for turning into pins, magnets or ornaments. No clay experience needed and all materials will be provided. This class is 60-90 minutes long to allow for baking time. Class fee is $18.00. Please preregister and prepay, thank you…

“Autumn Shadows!” with Deborah!

Friday, October 19th at 1 p.m. –
“Lovely Leaf!” with Deborah!

“Orbital Ornament!” with Deborah!
Using just a single sheet of 12 x 12 paper or 8 ½ x 11 cardstock and a circle template, we will create a lovely one of a kind ornament. Class fee is $5.00. Please bring a bone folder and dry adhesive (like a glue stick). Please preregister and prepay, thank you…

“Christmas Rays!” with Deborah!

When asked to bring your “basic kit” to class, that includes your:
bone folder
ruler
personal paper cutter
brayer
uhu glue stick
tombow or art glitter liquid glue
pop dots
1/8 th inch, ¼ inch and/or ½ inch double stick tape
Archival Jet Black permanent ink pad
sanding tool/ sandpaper
scissor/detail scissor
scotch tape
exacto knife
old shirt or apron to get messy
If you do not have all supplies, we have them available for purchase.
