In between those writing sessions I’m taking lots of walks. 10.000 steps a day, baby!
Well, OK: the equivalent of 10.000 steps a day, to be exact.
A 20-minute walk equals 2000 steps for me, so I’m counting 20 minutes of yoga as 2000 steps, too.
And riding my bike counts as well. This whole thing is more about getting outside & getting enough exercise, than it is about getting exactly 10.000 steps in every day.
It has to be fun or I won’t stick to it. I know me :-)

“I have so many ideas, how do I know which one to focus on first?!”
“I need more focus! But how?”
Can’t tell you how often I hear these questions (or variations on it) from my clients.
I bet you have trouble focusing on what really matters too sometimes.
This helps you determine what to focus on:
#1 Your intuition
I know. I’m always dragging intuition into (almost) every article I write.
With good reason:
It’s the MOST POWERFUL TOOL you already have access to 24/7!!!
Seriously. Whatever you need, your intuition will help you get it.
Don’t know what to do next? Ask your intuition.
Wonder if you should work with this coach or sign up for that program? Ask your intuition.
No clue what to focus on right now? Ask your intuition.

Ask your intuition:
What do I need to focus on now?
What requires my attention?
What’s the best action for me to take right now?
The answer may be something that’s already on your to-do-list, or something completely different.
It can be an action OR the nudge to take a walk, eat healthier, sleep more.
Whatever it is:
Listen. And DO it. When it comes from your intuition, it’s definitely YOUR best next move. #2 Priorities first
What’s the most important goal you’re working on right now?
Do something that brings you closer to achieving it every single day. Start your day with it.
What’s an area in your business or life that needs attention ‘cause it keeps sucking your energy?
Deal with it. Solve it, fix it, and get it done as soon as possible.
You don’t have to finish it all in one day.
You can spread it out over several days and work on it for 20 minutes at a time.
What are the things you REALLY must do?
Because you promised your client. Because there’s a deadline you cannot ignore or reschedule. Because you’ll get a huge fine if you don’t sort it today.
Handle them now.
At least make a start today. Work on it in daily 20-minute chunks. Or delegate them.
But whatever you do: handle it.
If you don’t you’re wasting time, energy and money.
#3 Be honest

This one needs no further explanation, right?
Go do that thing you KNOW you have to do, and stop pretending you don’t know what to do.
Go over these 3 tips every time you think you don’t know what to focus on.
It’ll help you decide what requires your focus right now.
