Exploring the Museum through Drawing
March 17-18
A 2-day version of this popular workshop. Spend first morning in the studio, focusing on a two-value statement in charcoal, and proper transition between light and dark on a single object. After lunch, head to the museum exhibits and learn how the observation of other artists' work can improve your own. The second day is spent working from a plaster cast model in the studio, then using landscapes as a design tool and a source for useful thumbnail sketches..
