ASAP posts $73.5 million loss in third quarter, its fourth straight quarterly deficit

Good morning, Acadiana. Let's get down to business.

The earnings report from the company formerly known as Waitr was not good again. It posted a $73.5 million net loss in the third quarter, its fourth straight quarter with a loss and its second massive quarterly deficit this year. 

For the company that has tried all sorts of things to improve its financial performance, it struggled amid what it termed a "highly competitive environment of the delivery business."
