Bring your trainers and sports kit to the ASB Sports Centre on Sunday 22 April, 11am-3pm.
We’re holding an open day so you can try out different sports before the next social league season starts. The sporting associations from a range of social sports will be on hand to answer queries.
There will also be family-oriented sporting activities and the Pulse stars will be available for photos and autographs. There is plenty of free parking at the centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie.
Contact the centre to find out more about the open day.
Two new sports will be added to the term 2 leagues: turbo touch and ultimate Frisbee.
Along with korfball, basketball, futsal, volleyball, floorball and netball, the leagues are for women and men of all ages who are keen to have some fast-paced fun. You don’t need to be an ace to join up – most teams are made up of friends and colleagues.
Term 2 leagues kick off on Monday 23 April.
Places are still available in our school holiday programme. Children can enjoy a variety of activities including sideline sports, arts and crafts, trip days to Te Papa, rock climbing and the movies.
