The ASCG held a
public education session about the content of the IASB discussion paper
Disclosure Initiative: Principles of Disclosure on 28 April 2017. The main purpose of the session was the introduction and reasons of key topics and proposals of the discussion paper. The presentation of the education session is now available at the
ASCG website. A public outreach session regarding the IASB discussion paper will be held in September by the DSRC, together with standard setter representatives from Austria and Switzerland and representatives from IASB and EFRAG, in Frankfurt(Main). Participants will be asked to provide feedback on questions set out in the discussion paper. The date of the public outreach session (participation is free of charge) will be announced in due course.
