This week's primary foreign investment news
from our ASEAN, China, India, Russia, Belt & Road and Vietnam Briefings.
---

HEADLINES: We kick off this edition with an opinion piece about ‘The New Eurasia’, which pulls no punches about the way the continent is developing between West and East. Egypt is a feature as part of a MENA theme with examinations of its trade with China and India, and look at a significant UK-China JV with Rolls Royce Aerospace entering the China maintenance market.

Elsewhere, hot off the press, we look at how ASEAN is accommodating a sanctioned Russia – and looks set to boom from it, while we look at northern China’s booming trade with the country. Getting warmer, we examine two basic business issues in the UAE: getting employment permits and setting up a basic office, while we look at Singapore’s engagement with the GCC. We complete this week’s round up with a good strong look at BRI investment opportunities. A new Eurasia beckons.
