Couch potato: Kansas family feels the squeezeHave you ever been brave enough to dig deep into your couch? People lose things like change, keys, food and remote controls behind their cushions all the time, so thereâs no telling what you might find if you look hard enough. But one family in Kansas learned the hard way that some things are best left unknown. After digging through their couch one day, they discovered a 6-foot-long boa constrictor hiding beneath the cushions! The family claims to have lived in their duplex for four years, and have never owned a snake in their lives. Thankfully, the fire department arrived to remove the animal, but the family is still afraid to sit down. Still, itâs a good thing the snake was removed. Calling the fire department was a choice that wonât bite them in the rear later on. Whatâs worse: A snake in the couch or a snake in your Christmas tree?
