Welcome to this month's newsletter! I hope you are all keeping safe and well. You should have received online access recently to the Nomination Forms for next month’s AGM committee election. (Ed: Scroll down for more information.) If you can take the time to participate in the vote, it would be very much appreciated. And, if you feel like joining us on the committee, we’d love to have you aboard! This month I broke one of my golden rules. After finishing the first draft of my latest novel, I launched straight into the second draft. Normally, once the first draft is complete, I would advocate putting a manuscript away for a couple of weeks or longer. This time, I got straight back into it. This is probably down to the amount of research I need to undertake, but could also be due to the uncertainty and lockdowns. With my second draft done, and a couple more to go, I’m about halfway through the process before handing it over to my editor. I’ll keep you posted. Here’s looking forward to catching-up at this month’s meeting. Write on… Andy |
