  World’s 50 Best Restaurants comes to Melbourne
The 15th annual World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony will be held in Melbourne’s historic Royal Exhibition Building on April 5, 2017. The Streets of Barangaroo has announced a collection of 12 new restaurants opening along the Wulugul Walk in Sydney’s CBD. The city’s newest dining precinct will open in stages from late September through to mid November and featuresinnovative concepts by some of Australia’s best chefs and restaurateurs.   Cape Tribulation full day eco-experience
Sailaway are expanding their ecotourism adventures to the outer Great Barrier Reef with full day adventure tours to Cape Tribulation. Beginning April 1, 2017, the new offer will include guided snorkelling tours with a marine biologist and glass bottom boat tours to the prime sites of Mackay and Undine Coral Cays.   Sculpture by the Sea celebrates 20 years in Bondi
Celebrating its 20th year, the annual transformation of the Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach coastal walk into a temporary sculpture exhibition opens this week. The event, held from 20 October to 6 November, features works from 20 Australian sculptors who have previously exhibited as part of Sculpture by the Sea. Find out more here.
     
  Adelaide Fashion Festival hits the runway  
The Adelaide Fashion Festival kicks off this week with 10 runways and 20 events offering an insider’s perspective into the fashion industry. The festival runs from 19-23 October; find out more here.
     
  The world’s biggest beach dinner party  

Bondi Beach will celebrate the end of summer with a gourmet, eight-course picnic feast in partnership with acclaimed Australian Restaurateur Luke Mangan. A Moveable Feast will be held on March 11, 2017 and will include a performance from a world renowned singer/songwriter still to be announced.   Taronga Zoo turns 100
Taronga Zoo celebrated its 100th birthday with a spectacular parade from Sydney's centre to the Sydney Opera House. The parade featured the 10 Centenary Legacy species Taronga Zoo has made a 10 year commitment to protect and save from extinction. The festivities continue with $1 birthday tickets and conservation awareness programs. Find out more here.
