Good evening,

Good evening,

It’s tough going in Australian M&A, but Street Talk’s found a pair of confidential sale processes quietly kicking off.

The first is the soft start at Australian Venue Co, with the company making its maiden pitch to private equity firms and other potential suitors, as part of a Jefferies-run strategic review.

Street Talk’s got the pitch, which appears to us like it’s a “more of the same” story, with AVC talking up its ability to keep consolidating the industry and improving newly acquired venues.

The other process is clinical trials business George Clinical, which is up for sale via Bank of America and Lazard.

Street Talk’s got our hands on the forecasts, which reveal a fast-growing little Australian business at the revenue and EBITDA lines, that could turn into a global winner for the new owner.

Elsewhere, we take a look at Link Group, and have details on Firefinch’s equity recapitalisation.

Happy reading,
Anthony Macdonald, Sarah Thompson and Kanika Sood
