With the dulcet tones of the musical John Drury clock singing in the background throughout the auction, we had many good results across all departments.
The highlight of the auction was the sale of a Victorian gilt metal hall lantern which sold for £8,200 after a battle between two telephone bidders. The jewellery and watch sections were particularly popular, with many room and internet bidders competing for some fabulous pieces on offer such as a single stone diamond ring which sold for £5,200 and an Mk XI RAF pilot IWC gentleman's stainless steel wristwatch selling for £2,600.
