It was clear prior to sale that the Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre pieces would do well, having had many enquires before the day. The Art Deco Wedgwood Fairyland lustre punch bowl pictured sold for £2,800 and a vase also designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, circa 1920s sold for £2,700. The most surprising result of the day was a collection of needlework samplers which sold for over £11,000 and included the highest result of the sale; A George III needlework sampler, circa 1810. By Helen Inglis which sold for £4,400. The guitar collection belonging to late musician Neil Jackson totalled £18,000!
