South Africa's first Bachelor star, Lee Thompson, has returned to Instagram after a 7-month hiatus. Thompson shared a carousel of photos with the caption: "A great Sunday outing." Thompson's return to social media comes after he reportedly entered rehab for drug and alcohol addiction in August. According to the publications, Thompson was evicted from a guest house in Buitenkant Street that he had rented at R300 a night since March 2022. During his stay, he had allegedly caused damage and chaos, leaving dirt in his wake from condoms and liquor bottles to a fire that was made in one of the rooms, which the owner described as "a nest" and a "pigsty". Following the bombshell report, M-Net released a statement to News24, noting that some of its reality TV stars, unfortunately, fall "into unfavourable circumstances years after the end of their association with our shows".
