With the omnicron variant causing COVID cases to soar again, could Louisiana go back to requiring people to wear masks indoors? Gov. John Bel Edwards extended his emergency order yesterday without re-imposing the mandate, but plenty of top health experts said it's probably a good idea to mask up anyway.

Car crashes through post office

A woman was parking at the post office in Denham Springs when she accidentally mashed the accelerator instead of the brake. That sent the car crashing through a window and down a hallway into a processing area, injuring one worker.
