Happy Friday. Welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Nov. 4. There was some bad news on the Saints injury front. Dennis Allen announced that Michael Thomas wil be going on the injured reserve list. The Saints wide receiver has a dislocated toe that will require surgery and will likely cause him to miss the rest of the season. I wrote about why this is frustrating for all, including Thomas himself. Jarvis Landry returned to practice Thursday, a sign he’s progressing. Versatile defensive back P.J. Williams is also back. Saints punter Blake Gillikin weighed in on the death of former Hall of Fame punter Ray Guy, who spent his entire career with the Oakland Raiders and set the standard for the position. For those of you attending Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, there is a special treat in store for you. The Saints are giving fans the iconic Dome Patrol posters. That’s all for today. Check the website throughout the day for any breaking news. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend. Rod Walker |
