A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. Baker McKenzie's Milton Cheng will be stepping down from his post as global chair at the end of his term and we're looking at the partners who want to take his place. Also, Cleary Gottlieb is closing its Beijing office, choosing to consolidate its Greater China practice in Hong Kong. And as KPMG Legal awaits word on whether it will be granted an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) license in the U.S. state of Arizona, several top U.S. firms are already operating under an ABS license in the U.K., where regulators have been granting such licenses since 2012.
