Ballistic Missiles from Yemen

The operation in Bat Yam continues following the devastating attack two days ago. Sadly, the number of casualties from Iran's direct hit has now risen to nine, after two more victims were found beneath the rubble overnight. Despite this grim news, our dedicated Zaka Tel Aviv volunteers continue to tirelessly work around the clock, holding onto hope that survivors may still be found. Every moment counts, and they will not cease their efforts until the site is thoroughly cleared and every victim has been recovered.

Unfortunately, Bat Yam was not the only sight struck yesterday. Ballistic rockets caused extensive damage in Petach Tikva, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Bnei Brak. Among the devastating impacts, a school was completely destroyed, three additional fatalities and hundreds more injured, many critically. Our teams are also assisting in these areas, providing crucial support to emergency personnel and families impacted by these horrific events.

As this already desperate situation unfolds, moments ago we learned that a ballistic missile was launched from Yemen toward Israel, triggering immediate sirens throughout the southern region. The IDF is actively working to intercept this latest threat. The uncertainty and tension are palpable, compounding the strain on already exhausted communities and rescue services.
