Dear Voornaam,

The news of the King's cancer diagnosis is continuing to dominate today, with Prince Harry flying back to the UK to be with his father. This afternoon, the King was pictured waving as he left Clarence House by car with Queen Camilla by his side.
We have been covering developments in our new daily news blog at scotsman.com.
Rishi Sunak revealed earlier today that the King's cancer had been "caught early" and that his meetings with the King were continuing as normal.
We have had extensive coverage of the story since it broke yesterday evening, and today, our correspondent Alison Campsie is gathering reaction and well wishes from Balmoral. You will be able to read her report at scotsman.com later today where we will have all the latest news and reaction.

Elsewhere today, Scotland have been hit with fresh injury woes ahead of the Six Nations clash with France at the weekend and there is a big night ahead in the Scottish premiership as Aberdeen, with newly installed manager Neil Warnock, travel to Ibrox to take on Rangers.

Meanwhile, Food and Drink editor Rosalind Erskine catches up on the new Michelin Guide with news of a new Two Michelin Star restaurant for Scotland, while Arts Correspondent Brian Ferguson reports on Rab C Nesbitt star Gregor Fisher's return to TV in a father-son sitcom with Greg McHugh

As ever, do send your feedback on The Scotsman - and this email - to scotsman.editor@nationalworld.com, your thoughts are always of help as we look to develop what we do.

Alan
