Morning, everyone! ⛅ The Keith Haring Foundation is selling the artist’s personal collection to benefit the LGBT Center in New York, BAM Administrative Workers successfully unionized, and we have a review of The Short Story of Women Artists.
And artist Adam Pendleton and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum were kind enough to allow us to publish an excerpt of the artist’s book that accompanies his exhibition.

BAM Workers Ratify Union Contract

Administrative workers at the Brooklyn Academy of Music have ratified their first union contract with a margin of over 90%. Union organizers said the coronavirus caused them to shift their bargaining priorities to job security.

The Artist Relief fund announced that it will extend its initial September deadline for applications to December 10, 2020. The fund distributes unrestricted $5,000 grants to artists in the United States and US territories.
The Keith Haring Foundation is selling over 140 objects from Haring’s personal collection via Sotheby’s to benefit the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York.
