A Maine radio project is connecting people with different views. The catch is that they can’t speak about politics.

Election polls are flawed, but they may be the best tool we have. "Since the voters we survey in the state are highly likely to actually vote, predicting the outcome of an election can be easier here than in other states," Traverse Burnett, a Portland-based pollster, writes as part of the BDN’s Political Viewpoints series.
