Bar proposed for corner of Johnston and Garfield opposed by LCG staff

The folks behind an effort to open a bar and a vape shop in the former auto parts store building at the corner of Johnston and Garfield streets are hitting a roadblock.

The issue is going before the city planning commission on Monday for approval, and Lafayete Consolidated Government's planning department is recommending commissioner turn it down.
