Dear friend, Over the last 24 hours, a barrage of rockets was fired from the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel, with at least 32 rockets and mortars launched in total. These attacks have caused substantial damage and injury, with two rockets hitting Sderot and wounding at least 12 civilians. As the situation continues to unfold, we at ZAKA Tel Aviv are preparing for the potential need for our emergency response services. These attacks have occurred during a time when our community needs peace and safety. The need for a rapid and sensitive response to emergencies is paramount. Our dedicated volunteers are prepared to step in, offering aid and comfort to those affected by these attacks. They work tirelessly, often putting their own lives on the line to ensure the safety and well-being of others. However, our ability to respond quickly and effectively to these emergencies depends on the support we receive from generous donors like you. This is why I am reaching out today, asking for your urgent help. Your donation will go directly towards providing our volunteers with the necessary resources and equipment to carry out their lifesaving work. It will also help us to reach more people in need and to respond faster when disaster strikes. |
