A bookstore crawl? In some cities, a new bookstore opening could be seen as competition, for Tere Hyfield of Red Stick Reads in Baton Rouge, it’s a reason to organize a book crawl. The last Saturday in April is Independent Bookstore Day, and for the first time, four bookstores in East Baton Rouge, Livingston and West Feliciana parishes are coming together to host a bookstore crawl.
