British Business Group Vietnam
Dear achternaam,

The UK Department for International Trade is requesting stakeholder input from UK companies to being a potential signatory to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The period of consultation is open until the 26th October 2018. Join the BBGV business events in both Hanoi and HCMC on “CPTPP Alert: Trade opportunities for UK Businesses” to learn how you can make your voice heard.

This event presentation will discuss the possibility of the UK’s participation in the CPTPP and what it means for UK businesses in Vietnam. Attendees will hear from Mr Frederick Burke, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie Vietnam regarding CPTPP provisions which are of particular interest to British investors.

How does the CPTPP fit into the larger trade picture that is emerging over the coming months, including the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, BREXIT and other pending agreements?

How can UK firms take advantage of the CPTPP even if the UK does not ultimately accede to the agreement?

Expect insight on some of the key industries and areas of change; learn what the CPTPP could mean for your business and how to ensure you capitalize on the potential benefits.
