| It was a pleasure to welcome a delegation of companies and educational institutions from Wales to Vietnam this week. The delegation explored a wide range of opportunities including a meeting on the Smart City Project with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. In addition various visits were organised by the British Council and representatives of Welsh universities and colleges met with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Australia International School, and Central Transport College 3. The delegation then headed to Hanoi for meetings with the World Bank, ADB, National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) and The National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF). BBGV was honoured to organise the business reception for the visiting companies and their Vietnamese counterparts on behalf of the Welsh Government in Ho Chi Minh City hosted by the British Consul General.
