Dear Members, It is with great pleasure that I write to you as the newly elected Chair of BBGV and behalf of myself and also the newly appointed fellow board members to recommit BBGV to ongoing development of all our activities around our secretariat, business centre and charity elements. As a Chamber, we are here to represent our membership and always welcome new ideas and input. If there is anything we can do differently or better please do not hesitate to make your suggestions known and we will endeavour to deliver. We also welcome your positive feedback on what we are doing well! BBGV prides itself on our close relationship and partnership with the Embassy and Consulate General as well as the Department of International Trade. I would also thank the British Advocacy Committee for their continued support and commitment to the work of BBGV as we move forwards, especially with our full consortium membership of the Vietnam Business Forum. We see these relationships growing in strength and new ones being forged as Britain develops its role in Vietnam. The coming year will present challenges but we also believe it will be one which will see BBGV’s continued growth and involvement in the broader business community. This would not be possible without the commitment, dedication and achievements of the Board and staff at BBGV over the past year. I would like to thank all for their service and especially to Ken who has decided to take a well deserved break after 3 years as Chairman and whose commitment has led us to the excellent position. We are all very pleased that he is continuing to remain on the Board. On behalf of the new Board I would like to thank you all for your support and trust in BBGV. Best regards, Christopher Jeffrey Chairman BBGV |
