| BBGV is pleased to announce another successful year for the British business community in Vietnam. As of mid-March 2018, the Department for International Trade had recorded 73 British Export Wins for UK companies with a total value of around £128 million. The top 10 UK Export Wins to Vietnam this year includes Food & Drink (£26.6 million), Energy (£24.2 million), ICT (£23.1 million), Defence & Security (£17.9 million), Healthcare (£13.1 million), Education (£11.8 million), Infrastructure (£4 million), Agriculture (£3 million), Fashion (£2.5 million) and Advanced Engineering (£0.7 million). Within this success, the Department for International Trade (DIT) Vietnam achieved approximately £95 million in export value from 30 Export Wins. Another 32 Export Wins with a total value of more than £9 million came from the International Trade Advisers (ITA) team in the UK.
The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) Business Centre directly contributed to 11 business wins in ICT, Lifestyle, Chemicals and Business Services, valued at over £23 million.

In addition to the Export Wins, the Business Centre also lodged over 130 Export Opportunities on the DIT GREAT portal offering opportunities for British companies to bid for work in Vietnam.
The fiscal year 2017-2018 has been an exciting year for bilateral strategic cooperation and trade ties between the United Kingdom and Vietnam. BBGV is looking forward to a fruitful 2018 – 2019 with further increased trade and opportunities for UK companies.
