BBGV and HKBAV are pleased to host an event on Private Equity with the results announcement on 2018 Private Equity survey of Grant Thornton Vietnam, entitled “Private Equity in Vietnam: Poised for growth”. Joining the seminar, ACSV will share their experience on (re)structuring companies in preparation for a PE-deal and also (legally) supporting companies during the deal.
A source of investment capital, private equity actually derives from high net worth individuals and firms that purchase shares of private companies or acquire control of public companies with plans to take them private, eventually become delisting them from public stock exchanges.
Join us to understand why Vietnam has been chosen to be the most-attractive destination for Private Equity investment among other economies in Southeast Asia; and what are the expectations and challenges faced by Private Equity investors in 2018.

BBGV is happy to report the 5th BBGV Football tournament for Charity which took place on 06 May at PVF Football Academy in Hung Yen province. 16 teams – more than 200 players and their supporters came along with their sport-spirit and filled the pitches with many colors. 20km distance from Hanoi centre and 38-degree -heat did not put anyone off playing in the most modern football academy in Southeast Asia. The sweat was pouring off everyone but we saw big smiles on red faces under the sun. That was beautiful! Ecopark team was the champion of the tournament and earned the title “Winner of the Championship League”, Standard Chartered Bank came second. In Euro-Asia League, Jardines came first and The People’s public security publishing house became the runner-up.
To BBGV, all of the players were the winners, as they came to play with their heart and raise fund for charity. More than VND 170 million we made together will be able to enable a charity project same as what we did last year, built a kindergarten for the ethnic children in Dien Bien Province. Once again, BBGV would like to express our great thanks to our sponsors: Venue sponsor: #PVF Football Academy Diamond sponsor: British University Vietnam Gold sponsor: British International School, Jardines, Hongkong Land In-kind Gold sponsor: La Vie, Raffles Medical In-kind Silver sponsor: Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake, Melia BaVi Mountain Retreat.
