BBGV Hanoi 2nd Fun Run for Charity

On 06 Nov, the second BBGV Charity Fun Run in Hanoi took place at Ecopark in the presence of British Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E Giles Lever, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen People Committee, Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh and BBGV Board Members.

This year, the event attracted more than 4,000 participants from Vietnamese and international companies/organisations, students from schools and universities as well as families and individuals in Hanoi. Together, we raised more than VND 412,000,000 for the flood victims in Central Vietnam.

BBGV would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to 30 sponsors and all the participants who joined us to make the event such a great success.

BBGV Charity Fund is seeking applications

With the BBGV Fun Run Saigon and BBGV Fun Run Hanoi completed, we have funds in our charity account ready for disbursement to organisations working with needy people in Vietnam. If you work for or know of an organisation doing good work, please, look at our grant giving guidelines, application process and application form here to see if this work meets our giving criteria.

Our preference is to support smaller charities who struggle to raise funds rather than large well funded agencies but, as this list illustrates , we are willing to support organisations that can demonstrate they have the ability to make good use of a grant. We need to know not only how our money will be spent, but what will be achieved with the grant - the outcomes, in other words. We are pleased to support good work the length and breadth of Vietnam - particularly in poorer rural and remote regions.
