BBGV attends BiSEA Road Show 2017
Peter Rimmer - Executive Director of British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) recently participated in the Britain in South East Asia (BiSEA) Roadshow in UK which took place from the 9th October to 20th October. Supported by British Chambers of Commerce, DIT and the UKABC, meeting venues included London, Manchester, Leeds, Hatfield, Cambridge, Chesterfield, Durham, Birmingham. Many UK companies attended the events to understand more about the Vietnam marketplace as well as other markets across South East Asia. BBGV met with over 60 companies on a 1-2-1 basis and shared with them information concern trade and export opportunities. The business interests varied greatly from interior design to solar power. BBGV is now following up on all the contacts and expects to support the many of the companies to develop their opportunities in Vietnam. One company attending the Roadshow has already been to look at the potential for their product in Vietnam and others are expected to follow likewise over the coming months.
The BiSEA road show which usually takes place twice a year aims to foster closer business links between the South-East Asia region and UK exporters.
