Last week, Ed Vaizey MP- the newly appointed British Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos completed his first visit to Vietnam. His schedule began with visits to Ha Noi and Danang, where he attended part of the Vietnam Business Forum and met with Vietnamese local government representatives. He then spent 3 days in Ho Chi Minh City, where he met with a wide cross section of the British companies working here and a number of interesting Vietnamese contacts. Together with the British Consulate, BBGV facilitated a visit for Ed to meet with the nine British companies who were exhibiting at the Viet Water exhibition. Water management is one of the top priorities for the city and an area in which the UK has globally-recognised solutions.
