According to the World Bank’s statistics, over the past two decades Cambodia has undergone a significant transition, reaching lower middle-income status in 2015 and aspiring to attain upper middle-income status by 2030. With the Kingdom’s rapid growth in real estate and coming opportunities for investors from Vietnam, CBRE Cambodia and legal firm DFDL in collaboration with British Business Group Vietnam and Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam will hold a breakfast seminar on Thursday, 21 November to discuss the potential of the Cambodia's real estate at The Reverie Hotel.
Under the topic of “Investing in Cambodian Real Estate”, the event will bring together experts from DFDL and CBRE Cambodia to guide attendees on the opportunities and challenges when it comes to matters of investing in the Cambodian real estate market.

Charles Amar is a Head of the Real Estate Practice Group in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Law and a Master’s Degree in both Real Estate and Business Law. Charles has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate law with a particular focus on acquisitions and sales, construction and asset management of real estate assets (single assets or portfolios), in France, Cambodia, and various other jurisdictions. Charles is a qualified lawyer registered at the Paris Bar since 2006.
