Aside from the International Women’s Day on March 8th, Vietnam also cherishes the National Women’s Day on October 20th. Everybody knows that Vietnamese women are very strong and resilient. Not only during the war time, but up until now, the role of women was as equal as men; they fought, they built, and they sacrificed. To cherish the great positions of Vietnamese women in the modern society, especially in business, where they have to maintain the balance between work & life, the British Business Group Vietnam – in collaboration with Soul Music & Performing Arts Academy, organised the “Women in Business” seminar on Friday the 19th October. It was truly our pleasure having Soojin Kim – Communication Director of We Work, discussed on Global women progression initiatives; Irene Ohler, co-author of “Ba Trieu’s 21st Century daughters” and Founder of iCoaching Global shared her Lessons learnt from Vietnam’s Remarkable Women Leaders – a Foreign Perspective and Ms Loan Pham – CTO of Nash Tech presented her story about Women in Tech. |

She is also one of BBGV board members who provides great support for women initiative events. Joining the panel, our speakers and Dr. Nguyen Quynh Lam - President of Embassy Education Group also shared different perspectives from different sectors. The BBGV would like to express our love and respect for Vietnamese women, to make their beloved ones happy, and to remind men about the importance of women for their life, the society and the nation.
