Many people think of self-defense as a karate kick or jab to an attacker. But self-defense actually means doing everything possible to avoid fighting someone who threatens or attacks you. Self-defense is not about using your fists, it’s about using your smarts.

The BBGV is teaming up with Kafnu and She Will Be Strong – an social enterprise to empower and equip our members on how to best protect themselves. These 3 hour self-defense workshops will focus on learning basic self-defense techniques in case of attack. No previous experience is required.

Come dressed in your regular clothing, not loose fitting attire!
