The 15th anniversary of the Basque Research Centers BCAM, BC3, and BCBL brings science closer to more than 700 people through leisure-oriented outreach
BCAM, in collaboration with the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) and the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain, and Language (BCBL), organized a science fair for the first time to commemorate its 15th anniversary on December 1st and 15th in Bilbao and Donostia.

BCAM and the University of Sussex join forces in Mathematical Research and Education
The centre will collaborate with the University of Sussex to work jointly in the areas of education and mathematical research, promoting the exchange of students and researchers

The project developed by Santiago Mazuelas (BCAM) and funded by the AXA Research Fund comes to an end
The project has been funded by AXA and has had a duration of three years. It commenced in April 2020 and concluded in September 2023

Giulio Bonifazi will defend his thesis on the 19th of December
The defense will take place in the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Leioa

A mathematics research center applying it to the challenges of daily life
BCAM (Basque Center for Applied Mathematics) was established by the Department of Education of the Basque Government in 2008 as a world-class interdisciplinary research center in applied mathematics as part of the planning for the Basque Excellence Research Centres (BERCs). In 2010, it brought together 36 experts in mathematics, engineering, computer science, and physics on Mazarredo Street. Today, it has grown to 186 professionals from 34 different nationalities.
Lorea Gomez, general manager of BCAM, and Ana Fernandez, general manager of BCBL, were interviewed by Faktoria (Euskadi Irratia), on the occasion of the centers' 15th anniversary.

Our manager, Lorea Gómez, participated as a speaker today in the Talent Attraction Day in Applied Artificial Intelligence, organized by the Applied AI Laboratory jrla2i, coordinated by UPV/EHU and with the participation of TECNALIA Research & Innovation #BCAM, Eliro, and Morespace. Here, the keys were sought to be able to identify opportunities for attracting talent among all entities.
