| Jose Antonio Lozano becomes the first IEEE Fellow in the Basque Country
Prof. Jose Antonio Lozano, Scientific Director of Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM, has been named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE). In this way, he becomes the first and only IEEE Fellow in the Basque Country and is among the 48 of Spain.
The appointment of Prof. Lozano has been made through the Computational Intelligence Society and is due to his contributions in the field of distribution estimation algorithms in evolutionary computation. The Fellowship is a great recognition, as only 0.1% of the members can be selected each year. |
