MINECO Call for PhD Contracts - closes today!
The Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MINECO) has published the call for PhD contracts to be performed at Severo Ochoa Excellence Research Centers or within the research projects funded in the call of 2019. All applications must be submitted through the MINECO submission service and the application period closes today, November 7th 2019 at 14:00h.
Doctorate INPhINIT program by La Caixa
This program is devoted to attracting talented Early-Stage Researchers—of any nationality—who wish to pursue doctoral studies in Spain or Portugal, and it's sponsored by ”la Caixa”. These fellowships offer a highly competitive salary and complementary opportunities for training, incentives upon completion of the thesis, etc. This programme is divided into 2 different frames: INPhINIT Incoming and INPhINIT Retaining.

This group made up of more than 20 researchers from BCAM, Ikerbasque and the University of the Basque Country will carry out various projects in this field with the support of the Basque Government. Its main objective will be to generate knowledge in artificial intelligence and to apply innovative techniques to generate knowledge in other areas of Mathematics.

100xCiencia.4 will take place in Donostia on November 22-23

The event, organized by the SOMMa Alliance that gathers all the centers that have obtained the Severo Ochoa and Maria de Maeztu awards of excellence, will cover topics such as technology transfer, and howresearch translates into benefits for society. The meeting will take the form of a fair open to the public, with a variety of stands and "TED" style talks.
